  • »calculation of microstructure evolution during rolling (austenitic grain size, recrystallization, residual strain, carbides and nitrides precipitation)
  • »calculation of secondary structure components after the deformed austenite decomposition (ferrite, pearlite, bainite and martensite percentage)

Calculation simulation results example

Steel groups supported by SPP software:

  • »carbon medium alloyed steels – carbon content from 0.06% to 0.5% with alloying elements total amount up to 10%
  • »low carbon microalloyed steels – carbon content from 0.06% to 0.4% on condition that Nb + Ti > 0
  • »low-alloy tool steels – carbon content from 0.5% to 1.8% with alloying elements total amount up to 5% if carbon content is less than 1.2% or with alloying elements total amount up to 3% if carbon content is more than 1.2%
  • »ultra low carbon steels – carbon content from 0.001% to 0.06%
